MMS MK.8 sold under the Ascolite MMS brand

In 1994, MMS made a significant breakthrough in garment manufacturing by designing and patenting the world’s first automatic button shank wrapping machine, engineered specifically for use with Ascolite TF thread. This innovation streamlined a previously manual process, improving both efficiency and consistency in button attachment.

Following this development, MMS and Ascolite formed a partnership. MMS focused on developing the machines, while Ascolite supplied the heat sealing thread. This partnership continued successfully until 2014
